okay tumblr, i know its been a while, but hear me out.
for the short version cut to the last paragraph.
life is kinda weird right now. going through some changes, some heart ache, some stress, but its all coming with a lot of forward momentum. in fact a lot of whats been happening is really great, but needless to say it can be a lot to handle, i mean that’s life. i know you guys feel me. but im not trying to write a fuckin memoir of my life here so left cut to the chase.
through everything i’ve channeled everything that happens to me into my band, Hit Home. These guys i play with are my best friends and the music we make keeps me sane. So im putting all my eggs in this one basket and giving it my all. I’ve been busting my ass for this band hitting up any resource possible to give us momentum, but in recent time tumblr hasn’t really been that much of a thing for me so i feel like these is a huge resource here that i could be tapping into. so many bands get a big push from their tumblr fame and we don’t really bring much to the table.

sometimes i like to consider what life would be like if i was a dinosaur made of cheetos and diamonds. the kind of dreams that only get remembered by dental hygienists, and cacti. that what i want, a big ol’ box of teeth and matches. i wanna bake cakes, and i wanna be able to make my utilities payment on line so i don’t have to step in the puddles. does anyone hear me? sometimes i remember how painful it was growing up, but also all the seemingly pointless things that made me smile over the years and it all makes sense in a broken kind of way. i look at the decent into monotony that i have fallen into at my increasing age, but how early it started. if we start off as sperm, i feel like that might make us qualify as amphibians, the most underrated animal kingdom.
